Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 100-D110J00 is a 110A IEC Bulletin 100-D contactor with a 24VAC 60Hz Class B (VDE 0660) coil and no auxiliary contacts. Designed for panel mounting only, this environmentally friendly contactor offers AC/DC coil control and features IP00 protection, finger/back-of-hand proofing (VDE 0106), and shock/vibration resistance (IEC 60068-2-27 & IEC 60068-2-6). It has a rated isolation voltage of 1000V (IEC) and 600V (UL/CSA), and operates optimally between -25 and 60C (derating required above 60C). Service should be performed by trained personnel only, after disconnecting the main supply. Replaceable components include the magnet coil, main contacts, and arc-chute, and only genuine Allen-Bradley Bulletin 100-D parts should be used for maintenance and repairs. Optional accessories include connecting components, terminal lugs, IP20 terminal blocks, and surge suppressors.
Is Your Device Showing These Signs?
The Allen Bradley 100-D110J00 commonly presents issues such as coil failure, resulting in contactor malfunction and motor control disruption. Technicians frequently address problems with the auxiliary contacts, which degrade over time, causing signal errors in the control circuit. Overload relay tripping is another common fault, stemming from excessive current draw or phase imbalance, requiring investigation of the motor and connected load. Furthermore, expect to resolve issues related to contact erosion due to arcing, leading to increased resistance and potential welding, necessitating contactor replacement or refurbishment.

Our Repair Process for the
100-D110J00
Our repair process for the Allen Bradley 100-D110J00 begins with a comprehensive inspection to diagnose coil failure, auxiliary contact degradation, overload relay tripping, and contact erosion. Technicians meticulously test the coil for continuity and resistance, replace faulty coils to restore proper contactor function, and address motor control disruptions. Auxiliary contacts are assessed for signal errors, cleaned, or replaced to ensure reliable control circuit operation. Overload relay tripping issues require a thorough investigation of the motor and connected load to identify and rectify excessive current draw or phase imbalance. Contact erosion is evaluated to determine the extent of damage, and contactors are either refurbished with new contacts or replaced entirely to eliminate increased resistance and potential welding.
