Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 1203-GK1 Remote I/O module facilitates long-distance I/O communication via a serial link to a processor. It provides a direct digital link between an Allen-Bradley PLC and a single Allen-Bradley SCANport device, with multiple modules enabling connections to multiple devices, one per module. Protect the module from static during installation, testing, or repair to prevent damage. It requires a 24 VDC (+/- 10%) power supply, mounts on a DIN rail, and can be housed in a NEMA Type 1 enclosure. Compatible Allen-Bradley drives include the 1305 AC MICRO, SMC Dialog Plus, 1394 AC Multi-Axis Motion Control system, and various 1336 series drives. Configuration is achieved using DIP switches, and SCANport and Remote I/O cables are necessary for installation.
