The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 150-A54NA-8B2ND is an open-enclosure, stand-alone solid-state motor controller from the SMC-2 series, suitable for use as a motor or series controller. Designed for environments up to 50C (132F), this 54-Amp, 230VAC unit features a thermoplastic housing and copper/aluminum/brass metal components. Measuring approximately 214 x 250 x 160 mm and weighing 4.5 kg, it offers soft start, full voltage start, and current limit modes, along with a soft-stop module to minimize load tilting. An interface option allows operation without an electromechanical starter, saving panel space and energy in low-load applications. It includes a status LED, phase loss protection, and is vibration (2.5G/60 min) and shock (30G/11 ms) resistant, making it ideal for squirrel-cage induction motors.
