Product Description

The Allen-Bradley 150-C480FCD SMC-3 smart motor controller offers five start/stop modes (kickstart, current limit start, coast-to-rest stop, soft start, and soft stop), supports motors from 200-315kW (50Hz) or 250-500HP (60Hz), and operates with 100-240V AC control power (50-60Hz) and a 500-575V AC rated voltage. It provides comprehensive motor protection (shorted SCR, phase reversal, over-temperature, phase loss/open load, electronic overload, and phase imbalance), is housed in a NEMA Type 4/12, IP65-rated enclosure suitable for various applications (fans, pumps, lifts, chillers, compressors, conveyors), and is compatible with star-delta induction and standard squirrel cage motors. Configuration is simplified via a rotary switch for motor FLA and DIP switches for start/stop profiles, and includes "hold to test" and "push to reset" buttons. An LED indicator displays run/fault status, with flash patterns indicating fault type. Its compact, stackable design facilitates modular control systems, and an integral SCR/Run bypass minimizes heat generation.
