Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 153H-F108FCD-50 SMC-Flex solid-state motor controller, featuring a built-in circuit breaker and an IP65 (Type 4/12) enclosure, is designed for 3-phase squirrel cage and wye-delta induction motors. Rated at 108A and 75 HP at 460V AC with a 500-575V AC 3-phase input (50/60 Hz) and 120V AC control voltage, it offers 100 HP output. This soft-starter, available in grouping and non-combination models, provides standard and surplus motor protection, including jam and stall protection with a programmable stall delay (0-10 seconds). When properly protected against short circuits, it safeguards the motor, controller, and cabling from overcurrent-induced overheating. The controller detects motor jams and shuts down after the set delay, alerting users before the motor reaches full speed to prevent winding failure from locked-rotor conditions.
