The Allen-Bradley 1606-XLS240EC is a compact and highly efficient 240W switched-mode power supply module designed for capacitor charging and motor starting. Part of the 1606 performance family, it accepts single-phase input (100-240VAC or 110-300VDC), delivers 24-28VDC output (10A continuous, 15A for 4 seconds), and provides a 152% (360W) power boost for handling high start-up loads. Features include short-term overload capacity (up to 150%), protective and diagnostic functions, voltage transient/surge protection, electromagnetic emission immunity, a DC-OK relay contact, tool-free spring clamp terminals, conformally coated circuits, and operation without derating from -20 to 60C. It has a 0.98 power factor, 93.1% efficiency at 240VAC, weighs 0.9kg, and measures 60x124x117mm.
