The module also features an embedded email composer and supports email initiation from the Logix controller. It allows TCP/UDP communication with other Ethernet devices and handles up to 128 CIP connected messages and 256 unconnected CIP messages, managed through up to 64 TCP connections. Installation involves simply sliding the module into a compatible ControlLogix chassis slot and connecting it to the network. The 1756-EWEB, an Ethernet I/P communication bridge, supports 10/100 Mbps transmission and is compatible with various ControlLogix chassis.
