Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 1769-L32E CompactLogix Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) is a cost-effective solution for machine control and medium-sized process applications. It features integrated Ethernet and RS232 ports, the latter configurable for DF1 or ASCII protocols, with auto-configuration available via RSLinx. Ethernet setup uses BOOTP-DHCP or RS232 download. The controller has 750 KB of user memory, expandable via CompactFlash, and supports up to 16 Compact I/O modules across 3 I/O banks. It operates from 0-60C, tolerates significant shock and vibration, and offers DIN or panel mounting. The 1769-L32E can serve as a migration platform for older PLC systems, and requires a 1769-BA battery for memory retention, which can be supplemented with CompactFlash for non-volatile storage.
