It must be installed in a suitable enclosure and is not designed for parallel operation, which can cause hazards. Before installation, mount the I/O chassis, set the power supply configuration jumper to "N," and mount the 1771-PA above or beside the I/O chassis with at least 6 inches of vertical clearance. Handle with care to avoid electrostatic discharge, and store in the provided static-shield bag when not in use.
