Product Description

The Allen-Bradley 1794-TBN Terminal Base Unit is a 16-point I/O module with a 250V AC/DC, 10A electrical rating, featuring NEMA screw clamp terminals for larger gauge (22-12 AWG) copper wiring with 1.2mm insulation and a cover for 10 I/O wirings. It includes 2 common, 2 +voltage, and V/COM terminals (rated 250V DC/AC at 50-60 Hz, 10A), a 5V DC, 640mA FLEXBUS rating, and requires 1.4 Nm (12 lb-in) terminal screw torque. Voltage isolation depends on the installed module. This open-style unit, certified with T4A (North America) and IEC T4 temperature codes, operates between -20 and 70 C (-4 and 158 F) at 5-95% non-condensing relative humidity and can be stored between -40-85 C (-40-185 F). Its dimensions with a module are 94mm x 94mm x 69mm (3.7in x 3.7in x 2.7in), and it holds CE, CSA, C-TICK, CUL, GOST, KC, MARINE, and UL certifications.

Is Your Device Showing These Signs?

The Allen Bradley 1794-TBN terminal base unit commonly experiences issues such as corrosion on terminal blocks leading to intermittent connectivity and I/O module failures. Technicians address field wiring problems causing short circuits and communication errors on the DeviceNet network. Resolving power supply fluctuations and ensuring proper grounding are crucial for stable operation.
