The Allen-Bradley 2080-SERIALISOL is a plug-in module for Micro800 controllers, providing an isolated RS-232/485 serial port for short-distance (3m) communication with HMI devices. It supports Modbus RTU, ASCII, and CIP Serial protocols, and is compatible with specific Allen-Bradley cables (1761-CBL-AM00, 1763-NC01 series A, and 1761-CBL-PM02). Installation involves snapping the module into the controller's bay using M3 screws torqued to 0.22-0.25Nm. It features 500V AC voltage isolation, supports specific wire gauges, and operates within a temperature range of -20 to 65C with 5-95% non-condensing humidity. The module is T4 (North America) temperature coded and carries C-TICK, CE, and cUL-us certifications.
