Product Description

The Allen-Bradley Kinetix 300 Drive 2097-V33PR3 is an Ethernet/IP Indexing Servo Drive designed for seamless interfacing with Allen-Bradley’s MP and TL series motors and actuator devices. This servo drive features an integrated Safe Torque-Off functionality that prevents drive restart after a safety circuit trip. Additionally, the 2097-V33PR3 incorporates integrated overvoltage protection rated at 850V DC and short-circuit current protection rated at 100,000 A (rms) symmetrical.  

The 2097-V33PR3 Kinetix Servo Drive offers a continuous output current of 5.7 A and a continuous output power of 1.0 kW, while its input voltage supports a variety of classes and ranges, including 80-132VAC (1-phase, 120VAC nominal), 80-264VAC (1-phase, 240VAC nominal), and 80-264VAC (3-phase, 240VAC nominal), all at an input frequency of 48-62 Hz.  

This Kinetix servo drive is designed for use with drive accessories such as AC line filters to minimize AC line noise and ripples, terminal blocks for I/O connections, shunt resistors, memory module programmers for configuration, and memory modules for automatic drive replacement.

The 2097-V33PR3 is equipped with an Ethernet/IP communication port that facilitates motion control over Ethernet/IP and the control of MP-Series and TL-Series servo motors and actuators. This same port enables simultaneous communication with Remote I/O devices, CompactLogix controllers, and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs). Utilizing Allen-Bradley’s Integrated Architecture system allows for seamless integration with Logix controllers.  

The 2097-V33PR3 is a versatile Kinetix drive compatible with both 1-Phase and 3-Phase input supply voltages, featuring specifications such as a 120/240 Volts drive voltage, 5.7 A continuous output current, and ISO 13849-1 Safety Category 3 Performance Level D. To meet CE requirements, a 1/3, rear-mount Bulletin 2097 AC line filter is necessary. The Allen-Bradley 2097-V33PR3 provides a scalable power platform suitable for both Integrated Architecture and component-level machine solutions. Employing the CompactLogix Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) enables the creation of an integrated architecture with code reusability, thus reducing engineering costs. For component-based machines, the MicroLogix 1400 processor can be used, with web configuration simplifying the control and implementation of non-coordinated, independent indexing moves. Requiring only a single standard Ethernet/IP network for the entire machine eliminates the need for a dedicated motion control network, simplifying wiring and reducing panel design costs. Its Smart Motor Technology speeds up commissioning through automatic identification of the correct motor-to-drive connectivity when used with MP-Series and TL-Series actuators and servo motors. Furthermore, it serves as a flexible control engine, supporting PTO, indexing, Ethernet/IP, and analog control of servo motors and actuators.
