Product Description
The 2097-V33PR6 is an Ethernet/IP Kinetix Indexing Servo drive compatible with 100V, 200V, and 400V class input voltages, specifically ranging from 80-132VAC (1-phase), 80-264VAC (1-phase), and 80-264VAC (3-phase).
This indexing drive features a continuous output current of 17.0 A and a continuous power of 3.0 kW, with a power dissipation of 117 Watts. It includes an integrated Safe Torque-Off functionality that prevents automatic restart after a safety circuit trip. This STO feature is certified to ISO 13849-1 PLd/SIL2 and can be used with an external relay to meet EN954-1, Category 3.
Supporting five different index types and up to 32 indices, this drive allows for the installation of a memory module for automatic drive replacement. It integrates seamlessly with CompactLogix controllers using Allen-Bradley’s Integrated Architecture System.
The drive’s single Ethernet/IP interface facilitates motion control over Ethernet and communication with remote I/O devices and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
This Kinetix drive has a rated operating temperature range of 0 to 40 °C with a relative humidity of 5 to 95% non-condensing. It can operate at a maximum altitude of 1500 m (5000 ft) with a 1% derating for every 300 m increase in altitude.
The 2097-V33PR6 Servo Drive offers a cost-efficient setup through its simple panel layout and flexible control architecture, requiring only one standard Ethernet network for the entire machine, thus eliminating the need for a dedicated Motion Control Network and ensuring fast, reliable connectivity with easy configuration and startup of motors and actuators. It provides a wide range of control capabilities, including S-Curve and trapezoidal moves, five different index types, and 32 indices for position control. The drive has a compact design with dimensions of 9.04 by 2.68 inches and must be mounted upright, not on its side, with a clearance of 25 mm by 3 mm for airflow and installation. Additional clearance on the right side is needed for a side-mount AC line filter. As an open-type construction system, care should be taken to prevent debris from falling into it, as foreign material can damage the circuitry.
