Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 2098-DSD-HV150-SE is an Ultra 3000 Digital Servo Drive with an integrated SERCOS interface. This servo drive is used to control the motion and position of actuators, such as motors, frequently in manufacturing settings, particularly in assembly areas.
To function, the 2098-DSD-HV150-SE requires an input voltage supply of 3-Phase, 230-480VAC rms. It is capable of providing an output power of 7.5 kW at 230VAC and 15.0 kW at 460VAC, with a Continuous Output Current of 34 A and an Intermittent Output Current of 68 A.
The interfaces of this servo drive are located on the module's front panel. These include:
A terminal strip (TB1) for DC Bus Connections for Active Shunt Resistor Kit, AC Input Power Connections, Motor Power Connections.
A Motor Power Cable Shield Clamp, positioned at the bottom of the drive, used to secure the cable and reduce line noise.
A CN3 9-pin Serial Port Connector, supporting the RS232 / RS422 and RS485 communication standards.
A CN2 15-pin Motor Feedback Connector, for connecting motor feedback.
A CN1 44-pin connector, for connecting input and output signals, including eight (8) discrete inputs, five (5) discrete outputs (one (1) relay and four (4) sourcing outputs), two (2) analog input channels, and one (1) analog output channel.
The SERCOS interface on this drive enables communication with controllers equipped with the 1756 SERCOS interface module or a SoftLogix SERCOS interface installed in a PCI card slot of a programming workstation.
