The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 23DF3-3001 Photoswitch module is a photoelectric sensor designed for high-performance industrial machine systems. This resistance-sensing module features a modular design, rapid response time, heavy-duty terminals, wide probe compatibility, and high water/liquid resistance. It offers a side view option, scanner control, and a durable PPO/PS plastic housing. Operating within a temperature range of -40 to 57C (-40 to 134F), the 23DF3-3001 boasts low power consumption and supports lead lengths exceeding 600 meters (2000 feet). Its solid-state output is 12V DC with a 30mA short-circuit current limit. Recommended wiring is #16 AWG, with a response time of 0.003 to 0.2 seconds. Probe current ranges from 65 to 0.001mA, and probe voltage is 22.5V AC (ranges 1-3) or 29V AC (ranges 4-6). The typical liquid resistivity range is 0 to 60 megaOhms per centimeter, and the input voltage is 120/240V AC.
