Product Description
The Allen Bradley PanelView Plus CE 1500 terminal, model 2711P-B15C15D6, features a 15-inch color touchscreen and keypad for input, 512 MB of RAM, 512 MB of non-volatile memory (approximately 79 MB available for the user), Ethernet and RS-232 communication interfaces, a Secure Digital slot, and two USB 2.0 ports. It operates on isolated DC voltage and is considered interchangeable with its newer generation PanelView Plus 6 series counterpart, model 2711P-B15C4D9, which adds a second Ethernet port (via the 2711P-RN20 module) but lacks DeviceNet. To prevent damage, the touchscreen should only be operated with a bare or gloved finger, or a plastic stylus with a minimum tip radius of 1.3 mm. This device is not for use in hazardous locations and should not be disconnected while powered. It has a T4 temperature code at its maximum operating temperature of 55 degrees Celsius, meaning it should not be used in environments with atmospheric gases having ignition temperatures below 135 degrees Celsius.
