The Allen-Bradley 803-A12 is a robust Bulletin 830 rotating cam limit switch with 12 circuits designed for demanding, repetitive-cycle machinery where shaft rotation and machine motion are synchronized. This Style A switch features normally-closed, 25A double-break contacts, a maximum shaft speed of 150 RPM, a standard left-hand shaft extension, and adjustable cam durations from 14 to 346 degrees. It includes a spring-loaded cam-roller assembly and adjustable internal dwell and timing settings (adjustable only when unpowered and stationary). Operating within a temperature range of -22 to 151F (storage: -22 to 199F), the 803-A12 can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise, fits a Type 1 enclosure, and weighs approximately 45 pounds. Its typical shaft torque ratings per cam are 0.5 in-lbs (roller in valley), 7 in-lbs (roller up ramp), and 3 in-lbs (roller on lobe).
