Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 803-F712T is a heavy-duty Style F rotating cam limit switch designed for machinery with repetitive cycles where machine motion directly drives the switch's shaft rotation. Featuring seven circuits with snap-action contacts and independently adjustable internal cams, it uses a shaft-mounted cam to actuate contacts. The switch operates at a base speed of 150 RPM and connects to machinery via a keyway. Circuit activation occurs when the cam lobe engages the spring-loaded cam roller. The snap-action contacts are rated at 15A/1.5A MAKE/BREAK at 480VAC and 0.1A at 550-600VDC, with a 10A carrying current. Dwell time, determined by lobe length and cam position relative to top dead center, is externally adjustable with a screwdriver while the machine is running. It includes a standard left shaft extension. The switch operates from -30 to 66C (-22 to 150F) and can be stored from -30 to 93C (-22 to 200F). It is housed in a NEMA Type 4 and 13 watertight and dust-tight enclosure, weighs 6.4 kg (14 lbs), measures 177.8 x 82.6 x 312.7 mm (7 x 3.25 x 12.31 inches), and is UL, CSA, and CE-certified.
