It features a 2000 Line/revolution incremental encoder, IEC metric mounting holes, and SpeedTec DIN connectors, and is compatible with Kinetix 5500, 5700, 6200/6500, 6000, 300/350, 2000, and 7000 servo drives. It lacks a shaft seal (IP66 protection requires MPL-SSN-F63F75, replaced every 3-12 months) and an internal brake (external braking may be needed). The motor's high-resolution encoder can support Kinetix safe-off features, and its onboard memory and communication system streamline commissioning by automatically reporting its identity to the system.
