Product Description
The Allen-Bradley MPL-B540D-MJ24AA is a brushless MPL series servo motor designed for industrial applications like packaging and material handling when paired with Kinetix servo drives. It operates between 0 and 40C, can be stored between -30 and 70C, and tolerates 5-95% non-condensing humidity. This 400VAC-class motor delivers 3.4kW of power at a maximum/rated speed of 2000 RPM, with a continuous stall current of 10.5A and torque of 19.4 N-m, peaking at 23A and 41 N-m respectively. Its 165mm frame houses a 4-inch magnet stack and a 1024 sin/cos multi-turn Hiperface encoder for feedback. Featuring a keyed shaft without a seal and a bayonet connector facing the shaft, it also includes a 24VDC holding brake. Proper installation by trained personnel is crucial before powering on the mounted motor.
