FANUC Servo Amplifier Module | Model: A06B-6077-H106

Initial Fault:This FANUC servo amplifier arrived with the customer reporting Alarm 01 on their CNC machine's controller. This fault indicates an overcurrent condition and prevented the associated axis from moving, halting the machine's operation.

Our Solution:Upon arrival, our technicians powered the unit on our dedicated FANUC test stand and confirmed the Alarm 01 fault. A static test using signature analysis immediately pointed to a short circuit in the main power module.

Disassembly revealed failed IGBTs (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors) in the amplifier's output stage. To ensure a robust and reliable repair, we replaced all IGBTs in the module. We also performed a proactive refurbishment of the gate driver board and replaced the main DC bus capacitors, which are known to degrade over time.

Following the component-level repairs, the A06B-6077-H106 was reassembled and connected to a compatible FANUC controller and servo motor on our test stand. We ran the drive through multiple speed and torque routines and performed a full load test to ensure stable operation and proper current draw. The fully tested servo amplifier was then securely packaged and returned to the customer with our comprehensive 2-year repair warranty, ready to be reinstalled and restore their machine's productivity.
