Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 100-D180EZJ00 is a Bulletin 100-D series, IEC-certified, non-reversing contactor with a 24V DC electronic coil (code "EZJ") and 180A AC-3 rated operating current. It features 3 main contacts, accepts separately ordered auxiliary contact blocks and other accessories, and offers replaceable main contacts and coil. It has a 250A AC-1 rating at 690V and 40C, UL/CSA 3-phase power ratings up to 150HP, can switch a 119kW AC motor at 500V/60C/50Hz, and its coil has a 46.8W power dissipation and a 10 million operation lifespan. The main contacts use screw terminals accepting conductors up to 8.3mm in diameter.
Is Your Device Showing These Signs?
The Allen Bradley 100-D180EZJ00 commonly experiences issues related to coil failure, resulting in contactor malfunction and motor control disruption. Technicians frequently address problems with the auxiliary contacts, which can become worn or damaged, leading to signaling errors within the control circuit. Overheating due to excessive cycling or high ambient temperatures is a common cause of premature component degradation. Troubleshooting often involves inspecting the overload relay for proper calibration and functionality, as thermal overload trips can prevent motor startup. Binding or sticking of the armature assembly is also a recurring problem, inhibiting proper contact closure and requiring cleaning or replacement of the affected parts.
