Suitable for feeder circuits (small cabinets, distribution panels, and branch circuits) and high-intensity discharge applications, this 480VAC (50/60Hz), 400A breaker features a 200kA/100kA breaking capacity at 240/480VAC, respectively. It offers a 6000V impulse withstand, 750V insulation voltage, a 100,000-operation mechanical lifespan, and a 10,000-operation electrical lifespan. The fixed thermal, adjustable magnetic trip unit (2000-4000A) provides thermal overload protection via a bimetal element and instantaneous trip action via an electromagnetic device. It features bolt-on terminals and an open enclosure.
