The Allen-Bradley 140U-K0X3 is a UL-listed, cost-effective, and compact 3-pole K-frame molded case circuit breaker designed for industrial control panel applications requiring short-circuit and overload protection. Suitable for back-feeding at 240-480VAC, it's ideal for distribution panels, feeder circuits, small cabinets, HVACR, and HID lighting. This 480VAC, 400A frame breaker has interrupting ratings of 100kA at 480VAC and 200kA at 240VAC, supporting circuits from 240-600VAC with a 6000V impulse withstand. It offers an electrical lifespan of 10,000 operations and a mechanical lifespan of 100,000 operations. While it doesn't include a factory-installed protection unit, it supports thermal/magnetic and electronic trip units, internal control modules (auxiliary, alarm, undervoltage, shunt trip), and a variety of field-installable external accessories. It's rated for use within control panel enclosures in temperatures ranging from -8 to 60 degrees Celsius.
