For relay-based applications, it supports up to two XM-441 Expansion Relay Modules, enabling eight relays. The module captures data on events like relay actions and can be configured remotely via DeviceNet or locally via PC. Designed for industrial environments (pollution degree 2, overvoltage category II) at altitudes up to 2000m, it accepts 14-22 AWG solid or stranded copper wire (unsoldered) with a minimum 300V insulation rating and 8mm strip length; an 8-AWG wire is required for DIN rail grounding for EMI protection.
