Product Description

The Allen Bradley 150-CA10 auxiliary contact block, part of the SMC-3 series, is a space-saving, side-mountable accessory that expands the functionality of SMC-3 controllers by providing an additional normally open (N.O.) contact for simple on/off signaling, featuring sequence terminal designation for simplified wiring and reliable operation in moderately contaminated environments (-5 to 50C operating, -25 to 85C storage, up to 2000m altitude, and 5-95% noncondensing humidity).

Is Your Device Showing These Signs?

The Allen Bradley 150-CA10 commonly experiences issues such as coil burnout due to overvoltage or undervoltage conditions, causing contactor failure. Contact erosion from repetitive high inrush current switching is a frequent problem, leading to increased resistance and eventual malfunction. Overload relay tripping caused by excessive motor current draw or incorrect FLA settings requires investigation and adjustment. Mechanical wear of moving parts, including the armature and contacts, results in operational delays or complete seizing. Terminal block damage from overtightening or corrosion compromises electrical connections, necessitating replacement or repair.

Our Repair Process for the

150-CA10

Our repair process for the Allen Bradley 150-CA10 begins with a comprehensive inspection to diagnose coil burnout, contact erosion, overload relay tripping, mechanical wear, or terminal block damage. Burnt out coils are replaced with new, factory-specified components, and contact erosion is addressed by resurfacing or replacing contacts to restore proper conductivity. Overload relays are tested and reset, with FLA settings adjusted as needed to match motor specifications. Mechanical wear is rectified through cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of worn parts, ensuring smooth operation. Damaged terminal blocks are repaired or replaced to guarantee secure and reliable electrical connections. Each repair concludes with rigorous testing under load conditions to verify functionality and adherence to original performance standards.
