The Allen-Bradley 150-SD1FAD, an SMC-50 series smart controller, features a 420A current rating and a NEMA Type 4/12 (IP65) enclosure. Operating at 230V line voltage with a 100-240V AC control voltage, this motor controller supports 50-150 HP motors drawing 120-361A. Its user-friendly controls simplify starting, stopping, adjustment, and setup, minimizing energy costs and enabling scalability. The 150-SD1FAD utilizes three-phase cage induction control to support soft start, full-voltage start, and current limit start modes. Its energy saver feature, requiring no additional panel space or wiring, optimizes performance during lightly loaded motor operation. Pump control minimizes system surges during motor starts and stops. Like other SMC-50 controllers, the 150-SD1FAD uses LEDs to indicate status, including control voltage, line fault, temperature fault, start fault, operating modes, and stalled motor. Stall protection, along with pre-start and run protection from SCRs and phase loss, safeguards the motor. Store in a non-corrosive environment to prevent damage.
