The Allen-Bradley 1734-IV8 is a compact, high-performance POINT digital sourcing input module designed for in-cabinet modular input platforms. It features 8 grouped input points with corresponding yellow status indicators on the logic side, a keyswitch position of 1, and mounts on either a 1734-TBS or 1734-TB base. This open-style module accepts 14-22 AWG solid or stranded copper wire (75C or greater, 1.2mm max insulation), offers fast change-of-state (COS) connections, and supports removal and insertion under power (RIUP). Specifications include: 24V DC voltage category, 75mA POINT bus current (5V DC), 10-28.8V DC input voltage, 2-5mA on-state input current, 1.5mA maximum off-state input current, 1.6W maximum power dissipation (28.8V DC), 5.5 BTU/hour maximum thermal dissipation (28.8V DC), 50V isolation voltage, 5-95% non-condensing relative humidity, -20 to 55C operating temperature, -40 to 85C storage temperature, 30g operating shock, 50g non-operating shock, and 5g operating vibration (10-500 Hz). Its dimensions are 2.21 x 0.47 x 2.97 inches, allowing for horizontal or vertical mounting in confined spaces. All ports are category 1.
