Status LEDs (CHA and OK) indicate communication link and module health, respectively, while a 7-segment display shows up to four characters. Rotary switches set the module's address. For PC connection via the NAP port, a 1786-CP cable with a 1784-KTC/KTCx card or a 1770-KFC external bridge can be used. The front panel displays health and alphanumeric status codes for troubleshooting, detailed in the user manual. The module requires a 900 mA backplane current at 5V DC.
