The Allen-Bradley 1756-L73XT is a ruggedized ControlLogix-XT controller designed for harsh environments. Functionally similar to other ControlLogix controllers, it offers a control and communication system with a protective coating. When paired with FLEX I/O-XT, it tolerates temperatures from -20 to 70C. It features 8 MB of user memory and 0.98 MB of I/O memory, a non-replaceable battery, and requires 800 mA at 5.1V AC and 5 mA at 1.2V AC. Power dissipation is 2.5 W, thermal dissipation is 8.5 BTU/hr, and it provides 30 V continuous isolation voltage (USB-to-backplane), tested to 500V AC for 60 seconds. The USB port supports 12 Mbps. Weighing 0.25 kg and occupying one slot, it's chassis-based and slot-independent. For low temperatures, use 1756-A4K, 1756-A7K, 1756-A10K, 1756-A13K, or 1756-A17K chassis; for general use, 1756-A7XT or 1756-A10XT are recommended. It lacks power supply redundancy but supports standard power supplies like 1756-PAXT, 1756-PA30XT, 1756-PBXT, and 1756-PB30XT, with a Category 3 wire rating on USB ports. Non-operating temperature ranges from -40 to 85C, with a maximum operating air temperature of 70C at 5-95% relative humidity. It withstands 10-500 Hz operating vibration, 30 g operating shock, and 50 g non-operating shock.
