The Allen-Bradley 1760-CBL-PM02 is a now-discontinued programming cable for connecting a PC to a PICO controller for configuration. It connects directly to the PICO controller's memory module socket (preventing simultaneous use of both), enabling basic timing, logic, and counting operations suitable for applications like relay replacement, HVAC, and lighting control. PICO controllers support expansion modules, some feature a display with keypad, and operate on AC or DC power. The display supports multiple languages and shows text up to 16 characters across 4 lines. Use the cable within a -25 to 55C operating temperature and store it between -40 to 70C. Only use the 1760-CBL-PM02 cable for data transfer to avoid damage. Connect the serial end to the PC's COM port (or use the 9300-USBS USB-to-Serial adapter if a COM port is unavailable) and the other end to the PICO interface terminal. It supports a 9600 baud rate with No Parity, 8 Stop Bits, 1, (CRC or BCC). This cable and the entire PICO controller line are discontinued and are recommended to be replaced with the Allen-Bradley Micro 800 Programmable Controllers.
