Installation is limited to six modules from the power supply, though additional power supplies can be used. MicroLogix 1100 supports up to four expansion modules, MicroLogix 1200 supports six, and MicroLogix 1400 supports seven. The 1762-OB16 features a maximum bus current draw of 175 mA at 5 VDC and can be panel or DIN rail-mounted, requiring proper grounding, ventilation (2 inches clearance on all sides), and an operating altitude below 2000m with 5-95% non-condensing humidity.
