Product Description

The Allen-Bradley 1771-CP1 is a flexible, 0.32-meter (1.04 ft) I/O chassis power cable assembly designed to connect a 1771-P7 power supply to an Allen-Bradley 1771 A1B, A2B, A3B, or A4B I/O chassis. It features D-shell connectors with tightening screws on both ends for secure panel-mounted or separate power supply installations, requiring a screw torque of 12 inch-pounds. The cable operates between 32 and 140F (5-95% non-condensing humidity) and can be stored between -40 and 185F; it is also CE certified.

Is Your Device Showing These Signs?

The Allen Bradley 1771-CP1 processor commonly experiences issues such as backplane communication failures, often traced to corrupted firmware requiring a reflash or replacement. Memory corruption within the SRAM can cause program faults, necessitating memory diagnostics and potential replacement of the memory module. Power supply degradation leads to intermittent operation and CPU faults, indicating a need for power supply repair or replacement. Communication port failures, specifically with the DH+ network, are addressed through transceiver diagnostics and component-level repairs on the communication interface. Finally, corrosion on the backplane connector causes connectivity problems, solved by cleaning or replacing the connector.
