Product Description
The Allen Bradley 1771-QI Plastic Molding Module features 4 analog inputs, 4 analog outputs, 12-bit I/O resolution, and 1500V RMS isolation between chassis/swingarm and input/output terminals. It offers 0.1% full-scale I/O accuracy at 25C with a 50 ppm/C full-scale range temperature drift. Operable from -25C to 60C, storable from -40C to 85C, and humidity resistant from 5% to 95% (non-condensing), it dissipates 21 BTU/hour (outputs full ON) and operates within a 47-63 Hz frequency range, utilizing a 1771-WF wiring arm. Typically, two 1771-QI modules control the injection phase of a plastic molding machine, one module per injection head, automatically compensating for hydraulic variations using Allen-Bradley Response Expert Compensation. It supports open or closed-loop control and adapts to various hydraulic configurations. When using two 1771-QI modules for co-injection, a 1771-QDC module can manage clamping and ejection. The 1771-QI module fits any I/O slot in a 1771 chassis.
