The module provides a control strategy, hardware selection/layout/addressing features, 57.6 kbps Remote I/O transmission rates, sequential function chart (SFC) capabilities, and special programming features, allowing for program development, entry, testing, and application. Its advanced functional specifications also allow it to be used as a document sign-off program. Backplane current is 2.5 A at 5V DC.

Is Your Device Showing These Signs?

The Allen Bradley 1785-LT3 PLC processor commonly experiences issues related to memory corruption, requiring memory module replacement or reprogramming of the PLC logic. Backplane communication failures are frequent, necessitating inspection and repair of the backplane connector and associated wiring. Power supply degradation leads to intermittent operation; replace the power supply to ensure stable voltage levels. Firmware corruption causes operational errors; a firmware upgrade resolves these issues. Finally, battery depletion results in loss of volatile memory; replace the battery to maintain program retention.
