The Allen-Bradley 20-750-UFB-1 is a PowerFlex 750 universal feedback option module compatible with PowerFlex 755 drives when used with the safe speed monitor option (or a 20-750-DENC-1 dual incremental encoder). It features two status indicators for board and DPI communication status. Configuration is done via DIP switches: S1 ON, S2 OFF, S3 ON for primary safety channel; S1 OFF, S2 ON, S3 ON for secondary; and S1 ON, S2 ON, S3 ON for both. In integration motion systems with PowerFlex 755 drives, the 20-750-UFB-1 module occupies ports 4-6 when using two feedback options and I/O, or ports 4-5 when using two feedback options, either a safe torque-off or safe speed monitor option, and I/O. It supports differential or single-ended operation with specific voltage, current, and frequency limitations, and accommodates various encoders like Heidenhain (EnDat), Sine/Cosine, SSI, Stegmann (Hiperface), BiSS, Stahl (Linear), and Temposonics (Linear), each with their own specifications.
