Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 2098-DSD-030 is an Ultra 3000 Digital Servo Drive, belonging to the high-performance Bulletin 2098 Ultra3000 family. It features an analog command and communication interface, and its front panel includes connections for AC input power, motor power, and passive shunt resistors, along with a motor power cable shield clamp. The drive has a 9-pin CN3 serial port connector, a 15-pin CN2 motor feedback connector, and a 44-pin CN1 user input/output connector, all female D-sub types in a high-density configuration. Additionally, it provides logic power connections and seven-segment status indicators for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
The 2098-DSD-030 Analog Servo Drive has a COMMAND analog input rated at 14-bit A/D, ±10V, and an ILIMIT analog input rated at 10-bit A/D, 0 to 10V.
