Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 2098-DSD-150X servo drive is an Ultra 3000 series servo drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It's a digital servo drive with advanced indexing capabilities. This drive operates with an input voltage range of 100 to 240 Volts AC. The 3000 series drives are compatible with TL series motors equipped with incremental encoders. The input, output, and all connections are designed to interface with the Logix platform, which serves as the drive's control system. The 2098-DSD-150X servo drive's running frequency can vary between 47 and 63 Hertz, depending on the load. It can handle both regular and heavy loading conditions. The drive has a factory-configured standard interface with an 800 Volts shunt-on feature.
The 2098-DSD-150X servo drive has a rated continuous power output of 7.5 kilowatts, and its continuous output current is 65 Amps. The drive's internal shunt resistance is 9.1 Ohms, and it can withstand a bus overvoltage of up to 452 Volts DC. The internal shunt functions for both continuous and peak power: it can handle 180 Watts with continuous power and 18 kilowatts with peak power.
