Product Description
The 2098-DSD-HV220-DN servo drive is a digital servo drive, specifically an Allen-Bradley drive from the Ultra 3000 series. Digital servo drives like this are electronic amplifying devices that power modern electric servo motors. They operate by using a feedback signal from the motor to correct deviations from expected performance.
This drive is equipped with the DeviceNet network for internal communication. The DeviceNet network includes an automatic device replacement feature, which significantly reduces the time and effort required when replacing a drive. This feature allows the scanner to automatically detect a new drive and download the necessary parameter settings.
The 2098-DSD-HV220-DN servo drive is primarily used for controlling industrial servo motors. It uses one motor cable and one feedback cable, and it incorporates two SERCOS fiber optic cables for data transmission. The Logix platform within the drive handles all control mechanisms, with motor feedback data communicated via the SERCOS fiber optic cables.
This servo drive operates with an input voltage range of 230 to 480 Volts AC and a running frequency of 47 to 63 Hertz. It has a rated continuous power output of 11 kilowatts.
