It can withstand ambient humidity levels between approximately 5 and 95% without condensation. This drive is capable of operating at altitudes up to 1500 meters (approximately 5000 feet) without performance reduction, though it experiences a 3% derating for every 300 meters (approximately 984 feet) of altitude above that. During operation, the 2098-IPD-HV150 can handle 2 g of vibration at frequencies from 10 to 2000 Hz, and in a non-operational state, it can withstand a shock of 15 g.
The 2098-IPD-HV150 is UL-certified for use in both the US and Canada.
