Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 2098-IPD-HV150 Ultra5000 is designed to operate within a temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius (32 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit) and can be stored in temperatures from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius (-40 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit). It can withstand ambient humidity levels between approximately 5 and 95% without condensation. This drive is capable of operating at altitudes up to 1500 meters (approximately 5000 feet) without performance reduction, though it experiences a 3% derating for every 300 meters (approximately 984 feet) of altitude above that. During operation, the 2098-IPD-HV150 can handle 2 g of vibration at frequencies from 10 to 2000 Hz, and in a non-operational state, it can withstand a shock of 15 g.
The 2098-IPD-HV150 is UL-certified for use in both the US and Canada. To ensure proper operation, it requires installation within an enclosure that provides adequate ventilation to dissipate its heat loss, which is roughly half of its power loss (350 Watts + dissipative shunt). This drive is compatible with Allen-Bradley’s 900-Watt 2090 Passive Shunt Module.
This drive is designed with the capability to run on an auxiliary power supply. In terms of energy absorption, it can absorb:
