Product Description

The Allen-Bradley 20BD125A3AYNANA0 is a compact PowerFlex 700 AC drive operating at 480VAC, designed without precharge and featuring Inertia Ride-Thru for uninterrupted operation during extended power outages by utilizing load inertia. It offers precise point-to-point positioning via a 16-step Position Indexer, programmable stop modes (DC brake, ramp, coast, ramp to hold, S-curve), selectable motor control (sensorless vector, Volt/Hertz), and independently adjustable acceleration/deceleration times (0-3600 seconds). The drive withstands line transients up to 6000V and showering arc transients up to 1500V, incorporating ground fault and short circuit protection. It provides a 15ms power ride-thru at full load and a 0.5s minimum logic control ride-thru, with a recommended drive-to-motor power ratio between 1:2 and 2:1.

Is Your Device Showing These Signs?

The Allen Bradley 20BD125A3AYNANA0 PowerFlex 755 AC drive commonly experiences issues such as nuisance tripping caused by improper motor parameter configuration or ground faults, requiring adjustments to acceleration/deceleration rates and insulation testing. Communication failures on the Ethernet/IP network are resolved through firmware upgrades, IP address verification, and inspecting cabling/connectors. Overcurrent faults often stem from excessive load, drive overload, or shorted motor windings, necessitating load analysis and motor testing. Drive overheating is addressed by ensuring proper ventilation, cleaning heat sinks, and verifying fan operation. Inconsistent performance is corrected by recalibrating the drive, replacing degraded capacitors, and verifying proper control wiring.

Our Repair Process for the

20BD125A3AYNANA0

Our repair process for the Allen Bradley 20BD125A3AYNANA0 PowerFlex 755 AC drive begins with a thorough assessment of the reported issue. For nuisance tripping, we adjust acceleration/deceleration rates and conduct insulation testing to resolve motor parameter configuration or ground fault problems. Communication failures on the Ethernet/IP network are addressed through firmware upgrades, IP address verification, and a meticulous inspection of cabling and connectors. Overcurrent faults require a load analysis and motor testing to identify and rectify excessive load, drive overload, or shorted motor windings. Drive overheating is resolved by ensuring proper ventilation, cleaning heat sinks, and verifying fan operation. Inconsistent performance is corrected through drive recalibration, capacitor replacement as needed, and verification of proper control wiring.
