Product Description

The Allen-Bradley 20G1AND477AN0NNNNN PowerFlex 755 AC drive is a versatile, high-performance PWM drive designed for easy integration and enhanced performance in diverse applications. Featuring embedded Logix control and a built-in Ethernet board for seamless network access, it supports fast application development and data monitoring. This 400 HP drive accepts a 480VAC input (342-528VAC range) and delivers 477 Amps with a 0.98 power factor and 97.5% PWM efficiency. It includes built-in fault protection, optional safety features (Safe Torque-Off or Safe Speed Monitor), 15ms power loss ride-thru, EMC line filtering, and a real-time clock. Selectable motor control options (V/Hz, sensorless vector, vector, or permanent magnet) and a standard 24VDC digital input enhance control capabilities. With an optional 12VDC incremental encoder, it achieves up to 0.001% speed regulation and 2% torque regulation. The IP00 open-type enclosure allows for vertical or horizontal floor mounting and operates in ambient temperatures from 0 to 50 degrees Celsius.

Is Your Device Showing These Signs?

The Allen Bradley 20G1AND477AN0NNNNN PowerFlex 755 AC drive commonly experiences failures related to the DC bus capacitors degrading, resulting in over-voltage faults and reduced drive performance. IGBT failures are a frequent occurrence, leading to short circuit faults and drive trips. Communication issues on the Ethernet/IP network, often stemming from corrupted firmware or faulty network interface cards, require troubleshooting and potential reprogramming. Cooling fan malfunctions cause overheating and thermal overload faults, necessitating fan replacement to maintain optimal operating temperature. Current sensor drift induces inaccurate motor control and torque inconsistencies, demanding calibration or sensor replacement.
