The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 2706-E43J128 DataLiner terminal, part of the DL40 line, features a 6.2 x 14.4 inch vacuum fluorescent display showing 4 lines of 20 characters. It accepts 85-264 VAC input, uses ASCII input, and includes RS-232 and RS-422 communication ports. With 128K of RAM, it stores messages (identified by numbers 1-9999) triggered by control system commands. The DL40 series, along with other DataLiner lines (DL5, DL10, DL20, DL30, DL40P, and DL50), offers various display types (red, tri-color, vacuum fluorescent) and character line counts (1-5). DataLiners have parallel, RS-232, and RS-485 ports, and are readable from up to 240 feet. The 2706-E43J128 and other DL40 models also support 12-24 VDC input and, with NEMA 12/13 enclosures, are suitable for indoor use, providing customizable and compatible message and alarm delivery for factory or warehouse environments.
