As part of the 2711P PanelView Plus family, it supports local or remote process visualization via a 3.8-inch, 320x240 grayscale FSTN display with a non-replaceable LED backlight (50,000-hour lifespan). Operator input is facilitated by eight programmable function keys, numeric, navigation, and confirmation buttons (rated for 1 million presses at 340g force). Communication is enabled through Ethernet, RS232, and USB ports. The terminal features 5MB (Series A) or 10MB (Series B and later) application flash memory and boasts a NEMA Type 12, 13, 4X, IP54, and IP65 rated enclosure. It also includes a battery-backed clock for data timestamping.
