Product Description

The Allen-Bradley 5069-L320ERM is a DIN rail-mountable Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) that typically doesn't require special installation accessories. However, a zinc-plated, chromate steel DIN rail (EN50022 - 35 x 7.5 mm) is recommended for grounding. It features dual Ethernet ports supporting linear, star, and Device Level Ring (DLR) topologies, enabling communication with up to 40 Ethernet nodes and 32 socket interfaces at speeds of 10/100 Mbps and 1 Gbps. It also supports motion control over Ethernet/IP for up to 256 motion axes and 8 CIP drive axes. The controller's maximum module power bus current is 450 mA (850 mA inrush for 125 ms), with a maximum current rating of 9.55 A and a voltage range of 18-32V DC. Sensor actuator field power voltage ranges from 0-32V DC and 0-240V AC (47-63 Hz), with ATEX/IECEX maximums of 125V AC. Power bus maximum current ratings are 9.975 A (AC) and 9.95 A (DC), while maximum field power currents are 25 mA (AC) and 10 mA (DC). Connectivity includes two Ethernet/IP ports (10-100 Mbps and 1 Gbps, full-duplex) and one Type B USB 2.0 port. It has a 2 MB controller capacity, expandable with a 1784-SD1 card or the included 1784-SD2 card.

Is Your Device Showing These Signs?

The Allen Bradley 5069-L320ERM CompactLogix controller commonly experiences issues such as firmware corruption requiring a forced reset or firmware upgrade. Power supply fluctuations induce erratic behavior, necessitating power supply replacement. Communication failures on the EtherNet/IP network stem from incorrect IP address configuration or faulty network cables. Memory corruption leads to program faults, demanding memory module replacement or program re-download. Controller overheating causes performance degradation, requiring improved ventilation or fan replacement.
