Product Description

The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3TXT Flex 5000 Removable Terminal Block (RTB) is a screw-terminal CJC block used with Flex 5000 terminal base assemblies, requiring separate purchase of both the RTB and a mounting base like the 5094-MB or 5094-MBXT. Essential for installing Flex 5000 I/O modules and connecting field wiring, the 5094-RTB3TXT provides cold junction compensation for thermocouple modules via its integrated CJC thermistor. Its front features key switches for module positioning, an I/O module guide rail, and an edge connector. Electrically, it handles 100mA maximum input per channel, 1.8A SSV output, operates from 18-32VDC, and has a 10.0A total module current rating. It offers 250VAC continuous isolation between chassis/SA and I/O channels/chassis. Screw terminals facilitate wiring for I/O SSV, module commons, power, external power, and the CJC thermistor. Designed for harsh environments, its open-style construction suits industrial enclosures and it operates between -40 and 70 degrees Celsius with 5-85% non-condensing relative humidity.

Is Your Device Showing These Signs?

The Allen Bradley 5094-RTB3TXT terminal base units commonly experience issues such as corrupted firmware requiring reflashing via Ethernet or USB, damaged terminal blocks necessitating replacement to ensure proper signal integrity, and failed transient voltage suppression (TVS) diodes leading to communication faults. Troubleshooting often involves verifying power supply stability, checking for loose wiring connections that cause intermittent failures, and confirming correct EtherNet/IP network configuration for seamless integration with the CompactLogix PLC. Address these problems to maintain optimal I/O module performance and prevent system downtime.
