Product Description

The Allen-Bradley 803-A10, a heavy-duty rotating cam limit switch from Rockwell Automation's series 803 family, is designed for shaft-driven mechanisms. This ten-circuit device uses ten eccentric, spring-loaded cams to open its 25A normally closed double break contacts. Each cam, consisting of two adjustable segments, is mounted on a shaft with a maximum rotational speed of 150 RPM, which can be modified using gear reducers. Contact actuation can be initiated at various points within the 360-degree rotation cycle, with adjustable dwell angles from 14 to 346 degrees. Suitable for applications like presses and injection molding machines, the Type 1 enclosure (27.25 X 22 X 18.44 inches) features a left-side shaft extension and internal timing and dwell adjustments accessible by removing the cover and loosening cam bolts. The N.C. contacts operate at 50/60 Hz with AC voltage between 120-600V and DC voltage between 115-250V, offering durable bidirectional operation and versatile mounting options.
