Product Description
The Allen-Bradley 803-B104 Rotating Cam Limit Switch, a Style B device, is a heavy-duty circuit control component designed for machinery with cyclical operations where motion directly relates to shaft rotation. Encased in a NEMA Type 4 and 13 enclosure, it features a standard left-hand shaft extension, 10 circuits with snap-action contacts, spring-loaded cam rollers, and adjustable cams on a 150rpm rotating shaft with a keyway for machine connection. Cam lobe contact activates the circuit, with dwell time determined by lobe size, while the valley deactivates it. Cam timing, measured in degrees relative to the keyway (TDC), offers a duration range of 14-346 degrees. The 10A snap-action contacts include one normally-closed and one normally-open contact, with AC/DC ratings of 15/1.5A (MAKE/BREAK) at 480V AC and 0.1A at 550-600V DC, respectively. It operates between -30 to 66C (-22 to 150F), stores between -30 to 93C (-22 to 200F), weighs 19.1 kg (42 lbs), measures approximately 411.2 x 144.5 x 200 mm (16.19 x 5.69 x 7.88 inches), and is certified by CSA, UL, and CE, making it suitable for industrial applications like waterway gate/lock operations, assembly/packing, and injection molding.
