The Allen-Bradley 803-EF8X Rotating Cam Limit Switch is a robust, long-lasting circuit control device for industrial machines with repetitive cycles where shaft rotation dictates machine movement. Featuring 8 independently adjustable cams that actuate 25A NC double break contacts (AC/DC rated) via a spring-loaded roller, it uses a " diameter rotating shaft (150 RPM base speed) to control circuit timing and dwell time based on cam lobe position and size. Dwell time is adjustable externally with a screwdriver, even during operation. Unlike standard Style EF devices, the 803-EF8X has a factory-modified double shaft extension, but maintains the standard 15-360 degree cam duration. It operates from -30 to 66C (-22 to 150F), stores from -30 to 93C (-22 to 200F), and is housed in a NEMA Type 13 enclosure. It weighs 20.4 kg (45 lbs), ships in a 441.3 x 158.8 x 242.1 mm (17.38 x 6.25 x 9.53 in) volume, and is UL, CSA, and CE-certified.
