Product Description

The Allen-Bradley 9101-1533 Ultra 200 series digital servo drive, part of the 1398 Ultra Plus Positioning Module family, is a single-phase, universal drive utilizing micro-controllers for digital current, position, and velocity management. It features a 7kW continuous output power, 10kW peak shunt power, 900W continuous shunt power, 50 amps/phase continuous output current, and 100 amps/phase peak output current. It operates on 100-240V AC RMS nominal input voltage at 47-63 Hz. Weighing 15 lbs (5 kg), it functions within a 32-122F (0-50C) temperature range. The continuous torque ranges from 0.17 N-m to 2.5 N-m, while the peak torque ranges from 0.48 N-m to 7.12 N-m. Setup is via serial host command, and it includes a DeviceNet connector for network connectivity. Safety precautions are crucial: high voltage remains after power removal, requiring monitoring before any connection changes to prevent injury or equipment damage. Proper grounding with a DeviceNet enclosure is essential for user and equipment safety. It also has integral power supplies.

Is Your Device Showing These Signs?

The Allen Bradley 9101-1533 HMI display commonly exhibits failures related to backlight degradation, resulting in dim or non-existent screen illumination, necessitating backlight replacement. Touchscreen unresponsiveness or inaccurate input is a frequent problem, often stemming from a faulty touchscreen overlay requiring recalibration or replacement. Communication errors with the PLC, attributed to corrupted firmware or damaged communication ports, demand firmware reflashing or port repair. Power supply failures, indicated by the HMI failing to power on or exhibiting erratic behavior, necessitate power supply repair or replacement. Component degradation on the main logic board, such as capacitor failure, leads to operational instability, requiring board-level repair.
